Warum UNM meine Wahl für den Aufenthalt ist: I wanted to train in an area with a diverse, underserved patient population that would prepare me to be a culturally competent and sensitive physician. In particular, as someone interested in palliative care, it was important to me to train somewhere I could learn to help families from all kinds of backgrounds navigate grief in the face of complex medical diagnoses. Additionally, New Mexico's close to home for me, and I wanted to be at a program that would bring me near my loved ones. |

Lieblingsdinge über NM: The state has so much natural beauty to explore. I'm into rock climbing and music, both of which New Mexico has plenty of. I also enjoy traveling, and Albuquerque's central enough to where you can fly to a lot of places across the country without too much trouble. |
